Background on the Author
Ever since i can remember, i have had a fascination with animals that extends from the common house pet to the exotic.
I have always loved going into pet shops to look at the variety of fauna they have. although, not always agreeing with the way that they were set up.
i started working in pet stores to gain first hand experience with reptiles and amphibians. living on a fixed income didnt allow me to actually keep any of these animals myself, so this was another way for me to get my "fix" as well as try to educate present and future pet owners of the correct way to house their "family members".
for the past few years however, I have been fortunate enough to have been able to open my home and my heart to many of these animals. some as strays and rescues, and others that i have aquired through friends and fellow breeders.
I now spend my time caring for a variety of amazing creatures. i enjoy learning as well as giving advice to fellow herpers.
to date, the majority of my jobs have revolved around animals and caring for them. my current position being as a Vet. Technician / kennel attendant at a local animal shelter here in Nampa, Idaho.
my hopes for this site is that it will help to educate a new audience of pygmy chameleon keepers on what this species requires to thrive. as well as documenting my experiences with these amazing lizards.
